Republicans are blasting President Obama’s proposal for a $1 billion climate change “relilience” fund.

They faulted Obama for linking the California drought and other severe weather events to climate change.

Some used the cold winter weather to push back at the president.

“Snow on the grd in 49 of 50 states and POTUS thinks global warming shld be an urgent priority,” Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) wrote on Twitter.
